Hi there, Lisa here! Welcome to  Ama Eshe, my brand and the Pan-African moniker that I adopted over thirty years ago to reflect my proud African ancestry. I am a classically-trained pianist, music educator, vocalist and performer who is passionate about the art of music, about breaking down barriers, and about removing the misconceptions and the wounds around prior musical education that leave many people with resignation about their 'lack' of musical ability, limiting beliefs around potential or regrets about missed opportunities. If I had a pound for every adult I've met who has told me that they wish they'd not given up on their instrument in their youth,  for everyone who laments that they 'haven't got a musical bone in their body,' or who wishes they could sing,  I would be very well-off. 

I'm convinced of the life-giving, confidence-building, therapeutic and health benefits of making music and want to make it as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. To this end I offer a unique service to all ages - in the form of taster experience days, workshops, private instrumental tuition and signposting you to some amazing services I work with to get you started on your musical journey.  If you'd like to connect, message me here.
